Haven't updated in over a year. Sorry about that. Graduating in six months, and I'm going to be working hard on priming my portfolio, so I'll upload some of that as I finish it. In the meantime, here's a Flash sketch I did as a tryout for a commission job.

Been a while since I posted anything or text or whatever on DA. Hey, you've been following the DC relaunch news lately? I've been curious, how'd you see Tim Drake "relaunched" in his new costume? And also the Superman and Flash re-designs and all. Give me a comment.
Oh boy. The reboot. It's too soon to tell, but I've been a bit put off by some of the design choices so far. I think it is a good idea to get Supes out of the undies, but I don't like all the extra lines on this new costume. It clutters up an icon. Tim Drake . . . no longer has his own title. Not happy about that. The new costume could grow on me, but again, too busy, too much needless detail, not enough attention towards making it instantly recognizable and awesome in silhouette. We'll see how long it lasts.
I mean, they're trying to "refresh" those most memorable characters, updating them into the world of today. But, I see (slightly by design) that they're overdoing them. I mean, yeah, they've got rid of Supes' undies (or, outies rather; whichever you like), but they'd still got a lot of people pissed of because of the changes. [I still feel that the classic Superman suite is more "suite"able. I dunno, those boxers really should stick - AND the lines of armor (geezz, armor fer God's sake!) ARE too much].
*Btw, try checking on Zack Snyder's for Henry Cavill new Superman costume.
And I also agree that Tim doesn't have his own title anymore sucks big time.
